ZOORIFIC TOURS |
| |
Zoorific Tours are ideal for groups who want to maximize the learning experience during their visit to the Zoo. Visitors are accompanied by a guide as they tour the Zoo. These one hour tours are a great option for teachers because these programs focus on a specific topic and are geared toward Idaho State Elementary Education Standards. Tours are best for groups of no more than 25 people. For reservations please contact:

2012 ZOORIFIC TOUR TOPICS |
| |
| Animal Olympians! |
| Millions of people watch into the Olympics 4 years, and wait excitedly for the next spectacular competition. But most wild animals don't have the time between "events" to train and rest; they have to be ready at any moment and must depend on their athletic skills or they may not survive. We invite your students to experience the sweat, the heat, the thrill and the defeat - animal style! |
| |
| Something To Sink Your Teeth Into |
| Our teeth allow us to eat all of our favorite things, and animals' teeth allow them to eat all their favorite things. In this tour we will look at how you can tell if an animal is a meat-eater, plant-eater or both, just by looking at their teeth. We will see some other cool things that animals use their teeth for besides just eating! |
|
| |
| WINTER TOURS |
If you’re looking to get out of the house during winter, this is the perfect opportunity! Join Zoo staff and go snowshoeing through the Zoo. While touring, you will learn about the basics of animal tracks in the snow during this fantastic and unique winter tour!
COSTS
Admission + Tour Costs (listed above) + Snowshoes ($5-optional)
(Dependent on weather and amount of snow)
