DAY CLASSES

These single day classes are perfect for children, ages 8-14, who have an investigative mind! Cost: $20 + Admission, $19.00 + Admission with Resident Card, and $17.00 + Admission Zoo Society Members. (There may also be a $5-$10 activity fee, depending on the program.)

2012 DAY CLASS TOPICS

Animal Photography Thursday, June 28 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

DESCRIPTION Learn the basics of photography with some of the best models around- the native animals of the Pocatello Zoo! Children will be taught about the history of wildlife photography as well as learn some of the modern day secrets to getting the perfect shot. COSTS • $20 + Admission • $19.00 + Admission with Resident Card • $17.00 + Admission Zoo Society Members No activity fee if student brings their own camera, $10 activity fee if Zoo provides the camera.

ZooKeeper for a Day! Thursday, August 2 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

DESCRIPTION Ever wonder what it would be like to work for a zoo? Now children can experience the wild world of animal care in our ZooKeeper for a Day class! Explore every aspect of zookeeping from animal husbandry to enclosure design. Learn how we keep the animals mind and body healthy with vet visits and enrichment activities. This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity! COSTS • $20 + Admission • $19.00 + Admission with Resident Card • $17.00 + Admission Zoo Society Members $5.00 activity fee.
